The latest Netflix series is guaranteed to keep you awake at night.

Netflix brought a small story based on a supernatural and tension-filled plot thread to its horror-loving viewers, because the Spanish series “The Girl in the Mirror” (Alma) created by Sergio G. Sánchez perfectly combines the typical cinematic elements of thriller and horror.

As a result of a tragic bus accident, the main character, Alma, played by Mireia Oriol, wakes up in a hospital struggling with severe amnesia. The confused and traumatized girl then tries to unravel the mystery behind the accident, since despite the fact that she survived, several of her other classmates traveling on the bus died.

With each episode, Alma learns more and more about the dark events leading up to the fateful moment.

In addition to Mireia Oriol, the series also features talented actors such as Álex Villazán, Pol Monen, Claudia Roset, Javier Morgade, Nil Cardoner, María Caballero, Milena Smit and Elena Irureta.

Each new character that appears in the story brings more and more secrets and tension to the atmosphere of the series, so no matter how much you want to schedule the viewing of the episode, it may simply turn into binge watching.

Sergio G. Sánchez has already proven himself with the productions “Orphanage” and “Marrowbone”. He also wrote and produced the entire script for this series, which was then filmed in various locations in Asturias and Catalonia. Commissioned by Netflix, the production began in September 2020 by Sospecha Films.
