1. Strawberry and coconut smoothie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1/2 cup coconut yoghurt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- A little agave syrup
Preparation
Wash the strawberries and remove the leaves. If you want a refreshing, thicker smoothie similar to a fresh ice cream, freeze the strawberries before making the smoothie for at least two hours or overnight.
Put all the ingredients in the blender except the agave syrup. Blend until you get a smooth texture, taste the drink and decide if it needs more sweetener. Sometimes sweet strawberries will be enough.
2. Cherry, yoghurt and mint smoothie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oat or almond milk
- A handful of pitted cherries
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 3-4 fresh mint leaves
Preparation
Wash the cherries and pit them, then transfer them in a blender along with the milk and yogurt, making sure all the ingredients are as cold as possible. Add 1-2 mint leaves and blend well. Taste the result, and if you want more mint, add 1-2 more leaves and blend again. Serve the smoothie cold.
3. Cheesecake smoothie with berries and lemon
Ingredients
- 1 cup of berries (blueberries, currants, raspberries, blackberries)
- 1 cup cream yoghurt
- 3-4 tablespoons of water
- The zest of half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Preparation
Wash the berries with a splash of cold water, then put them in a blender with the yogurt and lemon zest and juice. Blend until smooth; if it’s too thick, add a spoonful of cold water. You’ll get a fresh, summer smoothie with delicious flavors that will make you think of the best cheesecake.
