Homemade tortilla chips without oil – cheap, delicious and ready in minutes!

You can make tortilla chips at home!

They taste is excellent and do not contain unhealthy ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 100 g flour
  • 100 g corn flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 150 to 200 ml water

Preparation

Mix the flour and salt in a bowl, and then mix in the margarine. Add water one spoonful at a time. The dough must be soft but not sticky. If it sticks to your hands, add some more flour.

Shape smaller balls from the dough and spread thin on a floured surface. Bake the dough in a dry frying pan at low heat, for a few minutes on each side, just until blisters are formed on top. When done, cut each piece into 6-8 triangular chips with a sharp knife or a pizza cutter.

Place the chips in a baking tray and dry in an oven pre-heated to 160 degrees for about 20 minutes. Season as desired.
