Homemade potato chips without burnt oil smell and sweating at the stove

Chips are one of the most popular snacks, but as much as we love them, they are just as unhealthy because of the added flavor enhancers and additives.

However, you do not have to give up on them if you make a healthier version.


  • 300 g potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Water
  • Spices for flavoring:
  • Garlic powder
  • Parsley or dill salt
  • Paprika
  • Salt


Cut out a piece of baking paper the same shape and size as the microwave plate, and place it on the plate.

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, and cut them into thin slices with a peeler.

Place the potatoes into a bowl and wash them well.

Use paper towels to soak up the water.

In a bowl, mix the potatoes with the oil and the spices, and then place them on the microwave plate and run the microwave at 800 W for 3-5 minutes.
