There is no store-bought version that can compete with apple chips made in an air fryer. From now on, you can forget about unhealthy chips dripping with oil.
When it comes to apples, we can often hear that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. If you love apples, apple chips will become one of your favorites.
The recipe contains some sugar, but it obviously can be replaced with natural sweeteners. It is made from only four ingredients and is ready in less than half an hour.

Ingredients for 1 serving
- 1 large red apple
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon cinnamon
- Oil spray or oil
Preparation
Wash the apples, then slice them into approximately 3 mm slices. Remove the seeds from the slices.
Arrange the apple slices in a row on a tray, then set aside.
Mix the sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
Lightly spray the air fryer with oil.
Sprinkle both sides of the apple slices with the cinnamon sugar, then place them in the air fryer basket so that they do not overlap each other.
Set the oven to 150 degrees for 15 minutes. Shake the apple slices in the basket every 5 minutes so they fry evenly.
When they slices are nicely golden brown and crispy, they are ready.
Place them on a cooling rack so they can cool completely and become even crispier.
