  • 1 large avocado (or two smaller ones)
  • 1/2 ripe mango
  • 2 teaspoon of chili flakes
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

How to make mango and chili guacamole?

You probably already know how to make a classic guacamole. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, then scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place it in a bowl. Mash with a fork until you obtain a texture to your liking. You can leave a few chunks whole for a chunky avocado texture, or you can even crush the avocado in a blender for the smoothest guacamole.

The key to this recipe is to use a well-ripened mango that tastes intensely sweet and fresh. Cut the mango halves into small cubes and add the fruit on top of the avocado. You can also add lime juice, chili flakes, salt and pepper.

If you don’t usually eat very spicy foods, we recommend adding the chili flakes gradually, tasting and adjusting the flavors as you go. Serve mango and chili guacamole with crackers, on a slice of cornbread or in a buddha bowl filled with vegetables.
