The incident occurred on Saturday evening in the Osnabrück district of Lower Saxony. According to police, the vehicle veered off course after crossing a garden area and plowing through two hedges, eventually launching into the air and slamming into the barn roof with devastating force.

Inside the car were three children aged 11, 12, and 13, along with two adult passengers. But the most severely injured was not among them. A seven-year-old boy, playing on a trampoline nearby, was struck by the out-of-control vehicle.

German doctors described his condition as “extremely critical”, and said they are fighting to save his life.

The wreckage and the bizarre final position of the car—perched on the roof of a barn—have left many in the local community shocked and bewildered.
