How we spend each day is the way we spend our lives.

Are you willing to spend a little time each day (like most people don’t) so that you can live the life you dream of (like most people don’t)?

Here are those little daily rituals that will change your life over the next three months of summer:

1. Journaling ritual (for 15 minutes or less)

If you want to get anywhere in this life you need a map… and your journal is that map. You can write down everything you’ve done today, what you’ve tried to achieve, where you’ve made mistakes, what small steps you’ve taken to achieve your dreams. The journal is a place to reflect, to capture important thoughts, to determine where you’ve been and where you intend to go.

So if you want to change your life for the better write in your journal every day.

2. Gratitude ritual

Every night before you go to bed, reflect on the past day and tell yourself 3 things you are grateful for. You can start with something very simple but important – for example that you are healthy and that your loved ones are well, that you have a roof over your head, that you opened your eyes this morning, that you had something to put on the table for the whole family.

No matter what, find those three reasons to feed your soul and send positive energy out to the Universe.

3. The ritual of planning your day

As strange as it sounds, if you want to have a productive day, then you need to learn to plan your time as well as possible, put your tasks in order and take care of them one by one until you manage to finish everything you set out to do.

So, either at night before bed or in the morning as soon as you wake up, find some time to write down what you have to do that day and the order of the things you want to do them.

4. The ritual of having time for yourself

No matter how busy you are, make it a rule for yourself that every day you find a little time for yourself. Why? Because you need relaxation, rest, peace, happiness, smiles and disconnection from daily tasks and worries.

So however tired you are, find that time and spend it with yourself. At times like this you can do all sorts of activities to help you detach from your problems, relax and enjoy peace.

Examples of activities: read a book, watch a movie, cook your favorite meal, tidy up your dressing room, go for a walk in the park, do yoga/pilates, go for a run, have a beauty treatment at home/spa evening, listen to your favorite song.
