If you have no idea what to make for dinner tonight, this garlic chicken penne, ready in half an hour, is the perfect choice.
Garlic and cream sauce penne turns into a really hearty dish when you add some fried chicken breast cubes. Leftover meat from the day before is perfect for this, but you can also make it fresh.
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 400 g penne
- 300 g chicken breast fillet
- 50 ml cooking cream
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 large onion
- 1 small bunch of parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
- Grated cheese for serving
Preparation
Slice the chicken breast, sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss with a little olive oil and set aside.
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for the time indicated on the packet. When ready, drain and keep warm.
Peel the onion, chop into small pieces and sauté in olive oil until translucent. When soft, add the chopped garlic and sauté together for a minute. Then add the seasoned chicken and stir-fry until white.
When the chicken is fully cooked, add the cooked pasta, pour the cream over the mixture, sprinkle with chopped parsley and bring to the boil. To serve, sprinkle grated cheese on top.
